Located in the beautiful Sun Rivers Resort Community, this property is the original “Green Dream Home”. The home was designed to be extremely energy efficient, with minimal environmental impact and very low utility costs compared to estate homes nearby. Passive solar heating saves energy in the winter, while large overhangs prevent heat gain in the summer, the large triple glazed windows were carefully placed to allow for ample natural light. There are four outdoor spaces including a large deck off the dining room, spacious patio below, patio nook at the front entry and a primary bdrm private balcony to enjoy the views. The living room features high ceilings, an electric F/P & built in waterfall that is great for adding humidity. The kitchen has soft close bamboo cabinetry, concrete counters and S/S appliances including a slide in electric range. The eco-friendly cork flooring runs throughout the main floor and 2nd level. The 2nd lvl has an office space that overlooks the main floor and bridge walkway to the primary bdrm. The primary has a Juliet balcony that overlooks the main floor, and a 3pc ensuite. The lower level is perfect for extended family/guests; finished with concrete floors, offering a nice family room, a gym and a wet bar. This home achieves net zero with solar panels on the rubber shingled roof, vertical mounted panels on deck railings & solar hot water heating. Extra health & comfort comes from the HRV air exchange system (updated 2022) and well maintained geothermal heating & cooling system. Features: ICF foundation, extra insulated walls & attic, HWT 2021, new $30,000 GSI Home Automation system and fully irrigated lush landscaping. Request your full information package today!
