Nestled just an hour west of Kamloops, this charming 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is the epitome of rustic country living paired with modern conveniences. Situated on a 4.8-acre parcel of land, this move-in-ready property boasts hydro, a Telus landline, well water, and a recently pumped septic system (last serviced in May 2024). Accommodating up to 8 guests comfortably, with a bunk room for 4, a master bedroom, and a second bedroom for 2 each, this cottage also features a pull-out couch in the living room for additional visitors. A picturesque river flows through the property, providing a refreshing oasis during the sweltering summer months, complemented by the proximity of 5 different lakes within a half-hour drive. Recent upgrades ensure peace of mind, with a robust dyke system shielding the cottage and surrounding land from high water levels. Additionally, 600 feet of drainage ducts have been installed to combat excess moisture during the wet season. A comprehensive renovation over the past 12 years revitalized the cottage from the studs up, including new insulation, wiring, subfloor, roof, siding, and more. This property caters to a diverse range of lifestyles, offering endless riding trails for outdoor enthusiasts and serene views and sounds for those seeking a peaceful retreat to unwind and recharge.

About
I moved to Kamloops from the Okanagan a decade ago and have never looked back. I studied business and sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia. After finishing my degree with a B.A. and working as an assistant to the Dean of Marketing I quickly jumped into the fast-paced environment of commerce. Having lived in BC the majority my life and having worked all over the country and traveled all over the world, it quickly became obvious, Kamloops is a great place to live. I am grateful for my family and always appreciate good times with friends. I was very fortunate to play competitive hockey and soccer in my younger years which helped to develop the importance of hard work, dedication and teamwork which I apply to all areas of my professional and personal life. After jumping from a plane 97 times I sold his parachute for a set of golf clubs. I also love water, frozen or not, snowboarding, wake-boarding and being in the outdoors.
